By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, MARCH 18. Shaken by Thursday's killing of two TDP activists, the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is planning to request the Election Commission to deploy additional police forces in Andhra Pradesh during the elections.

Mr. Naidu will write a letter to the Commission in a day or two highlighting the violence let loose by the People's War against the TDP leaders, including the murder of Macharasa Venkata Raju, husband of the Tribal Welfare Minister, M. Manikumari. He reviewed the situation with the senior TDP leaders at the NTR Bhavan in the wake of the twin killings on Thursday.
