Walk-in interviews for job training

CHENNAI, MARCH 19. Walk-in interviews will be organised for three types of job training for the Backward and Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities, a release from the Chennai Collectorate said.

The first training on Measurement and Quality Control will be provided for 20 persons and the qualification is a pass in Standard X. The training period is three months. The candidate has to pay Rs. 500 and the Government contribution is Rs. 4,500. Walk-in interview will be held at the Apparel Training and Design Centre, Readymade Garment Complex, Thiru.Vi.Ka Industrial Estate, Guindy.

The three-month training for Sewing Machine Operator will be given for 35 men and women who have passed Standard VIII. The candidate has to pay Rs. 150 while the Government will pay Rs. 1,350. Walk-in interview will be held at the Apparel Training and Design Centre, Thiru.Vi.Ka. Industrial Estate, Guindy.

The two-month training in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control System will be held for 20 persons with an engineering diploma. The Government contribution is Rs. 2,520 and the participant's contribution will be Rs. 280. The training will be held at NLIC, Technical Service Centre Sector, B-25, Guindy Estate, Eekkattuthangal.
