MADANAPALLE, MARCH 20. The State Bank of India, Madanapalle branch Chief Manager, Somasekhar, said that every day 5 kg tomato bags will be distributed free of cost to 200 customers, because of bumper tomato as well as a steep fall in the price of tomatoes. At the rate of Rs.1.25 per kilo the concerned special officer of the concerned branches of SBI will pay the money to the tomato market authorities, Mr. Somasekhar added. The Joint Collector, Janardana Reddy, was also present on the occasion.
