>Dry weather CHENNAI, MARCH 20. Dry weather prevailed over Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. On Friday, heat wave conditions prevailed over parts of Interior Tamilnadu and Telangana and the day was hot over parts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The maximum temperature rose at one or two places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell at one or two places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Kerala and changed a little elsewhere over the region. They were markedly to appreciably above normal at many places over Tamilnadu, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka and at one or two places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, above normal at one or two places over rest Coastal Karnataka, rest South Interior Karnataka, rest Tamilnadu, and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Nizamabad recorded highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius in the region. The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at a few places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamilnadu and at one or two places over Telangana, appreciably below normal at one or two places over rest Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Ramagundam recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 20 degree celsius in the plains of the region. FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Isolated rain thundershowers as likely to occur over South Kerala and mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, North Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. HEAT WAVE WARNING: Heat wave conditions likely to prevail over parts of Interior Tamilnadu and Telangana during the next two days. Farmers' Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until Monday morning): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
