Cong, BJP workers clash

By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, MARCH 20. Workers of the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party clashed at Tikri village in West Delhi today where a private news channel team had gone for recording a programme.

The Union Labour Minister, Sahib Singh Verma, and the Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Rajkumar Chauhan attended the programme among others. The clash followed heated debate among the workers of the two parties on the issue of development in rural areas of the Capital.

It is understood that the Congress workers objected to the allegations of Mr. Verma that the developmental activities in the rural areas of the Capital had come to standstill under the Congress regime.
