Caste groups seek political representation

VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 21. The Kapu, Telaga and Balija Welfare Association (Vizag south unit) on Sunday sought adequate political representation for Kapu, Telaga Balija and other backward communities.

At a meeting at Gajuwaka, the association claimed that these communities were neglected by various political parties. These communities constituted a significant chunk of the population in the State, it said.
