CUDDAPAH, MARCH 21. The Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science (AITS) at Rajampet will sign MoUs with 10 industrial firms in Cuddapah and Tirupati on Monday to impart training for its mechanical engineering students, AITS principal C. Ramachandra Reddy, told newsmen at Rajampet on Sunday. The institute will also host a national-level students' technical symposium titled `Mecha Drive 2004' on its campus on Monday, which would be inaugurated by professor of National Institute of Technology, Warangal, C.S.P. Rao, he added. Professor of IIT Chennai, O.V.K. Chetty, professor of Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati, C. Easwar Reddy and Director of P.R. Rolling Mills Ltd., Renigunta, Arvind Sood, would attend it. Engineering students from all over the State, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh were expected to present papers.
