CHENNAI, MARCH 21. A complaint box has been placed in the Tiruvallur Collector's office to enable the public to submit petitions on violation of the model code of conduct prescribed by the Election Commission. The box will be opened daily and a register will be maintained by the election section to record the action taken on the petitions. The Collector, S. Chandramohan, who will monitor the facility, will initiate action against those violated the rules. He appealed to parties to strictly adhere to the code of conduct.
