KOCHI, MARCH 21. V.R. Krishna Iyer, former judge of the Supreme Court, called upon the people to help revive water resources by stopping dangerous interventions with nature. He said students and youth must realise that imperialist forces we trying to establish their sway over water. He was speaking at a water literacy programme organised by the Kerala Samskarika Parishad(KSP) here today. The Parishad will organise a water awareness drive in different parts of the district to mark the World Water Day tomorrow. The year-long campaign will include training camps, studies on the rivers of Periyar, Chaliyar, Pampa and Bharatapuzha, and a variety of other programmes.
