This Day That Age
Gregory Peck, well-known film actor of America, told a representative of The Hindu on March 22 in Madras that he desired to see Indian pictures and know more about Indian life. He hoped, during his brief stay in India, to see Indian films, he added. Gregory Peck and Robert Parish, film director, who spent nearly 12 weeks in Ceylon working on their new picture "Purple Plain", passed through Madras airport on March 22 on their way to Bombay.
