Letters to the Editor
Sir, The article, "The J&K Bill 2004" (March 19) has some notably good arguments favouring Article 370 of the Constitution. It has also raised the point of preserving Kashmir's demographic composition. But this has changed because of the years of terrorism; the Pandits have left the Valley. We are proud of our regional diversity but when there is marked imbalance in development, it also leads to regionalism. The real issues of development are being sidelined and the lack of political will to resolve the Kashmir problem has been masked under Article 370.
