DEHRA DUN, MARCH 22 .The Samajwadi Party president and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav, today accused the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress of trying to rob the votes of the common man to help the minority upper class of the nation. Addressing an election rally at the Litho Press Grounds in Roorkee, Mr Yadav described the BJP and the Congress as two sides of the same coin. Their intention is simply to grab power by making false promises to the masses and benefit only the already wealthy class when in power. "The BJP leaders are saying everyone is feeling good and India is shining under their government. The poor still have no opportunities to earn a living, medical or educational facilities. Hundreds of farmers commit suicide every year. Is this feeling good or India shining? he asked. Reacting to repeated slogans to take Hardwar back to Uttar Pradesh, Mr Yadav said his party would consider the proposal only if the people elected the party nominee, Rajender Bady, from the Hardwar seat.
