M&M launches new tractor

CHENNAI: Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced a new tractor with Turbo technology. The product, Sarpanch 595 DI Super Turbo, will offer 25 per cent more power and speed. The technology used is the same used to fly jet planes and run ships. K. J. Davasia, Executive Director and President, Farm Equipment Sector, M&M, who was here in connection with the launch, said the tractor industry, which had registered degrowth in the last 3-4 years, had improved in the last two quarters.
