APSFC to accept deposits

HYDERABAD: The State Government has notified Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) as an eligible institution to accept deposits from all Departments of Secretariat, Quasi Government Undertakings and other Government institutions and financing corporations.

Earlier the Government had notified some of the nationalised and scheduled banks as eligible institutions to accept deposits from Government departments.

S. Nageswara Rao, Chief General manager, APSFC, said in a press release that the Government order was expected to help the APSFC to finance a larger number of industrial units in the State and thereby increase employment generation also.
