N.K. Singh's brother joins BJP

NEW DELHI, MARCH 22. Uday Singh, son of Madhuri Singh, a former MP, and brother of N.K. Singh, member of the Planning Commission, today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Introducing him, the Law Minister and party spokesperson, Arun Jaitley, said Mr. Singh belonged to a ``high'' political family in Bihar. Uday Singh, who was earlier with the Congress, had contested two Lok Sabha elections from Purnea, both unsuccessfully.
