Hutch's two-way roaming facility
NEW DELHI: Cellular operator, Hutch, on Monday introduced two-way international roaming for pre-paid subscribers in the Delhi circle to over 65 countries, including Pakistan. Hutch subscribers in Delhi will now be able to make and receive calls as well as send SMS while roaming internationally in 110 networks in the world, a company release said here. This offering makes Hutch the only cellular operator in the Capital to provide its entire subscribers base, both pre-paid as well as post-paid, the benefits of two-way roaming internationally. For international roaming, the monthly rental continues to be Rs. 99 a month and SMS charges at Rs. 25 per SMS. A subscriber would have to pay Rs. 50 per minute for calling within Pakistan and Rs. 57 per minute for calling to India. Calling charges from India to Gulf and Africa, rest of the world and South and Central America is Rs. 26.50 a minute each. Calling charges from the Gulf and Africa to India will be Rs. 65 per minute.
