Shourie to attend 10th anniversary of Business Line

CHENNAI, MARCH 22. The Union Minister for Communications, Information Technology and Disinvestment, Arun Shourie, will be the chief guest at a function to mark the 10th anniversary of The Hindu Business Line in Chennai on Tuesday.

K.V. Kamath, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ICICI Bank Ltd and R. Seshasayee, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland Ltd, will be the guests of honour. Over 300 guests — captains of industry and commerce — will participate in the function to be held at Hotel Taj Coromandel.

N. Ram, Editor-in-Chief, The Hindu group of publications; K. Venugopal, Executive Editor, The Hindu Business Line; and N. Murali, Joint Managing Director, Kasturi & Sons Ltd, publishers of Business Line, will participate in the function.

The paper was launched on January 28, 1994.
