PONDICHERRY, MARCH 22. The State Committee of the Communist Party of India has formed poll committees and cultural and propaganda teams to campaign for the Pattali Makkal Katchi candidate, M. Ramadoss. A communication from the party secretary, N. Kalainathan, said here on Saturday that the 160-member committee would include State-level monitoring panel. Mr. Kalainathan said a joint meeting of the constituents of the Democratic Progressive Alliance would be held on March 23. The Tamil Nadu CPI State secretary, R. Nallakannu, would address the meeting.
