NAGERCOIL, MARCH 22. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Bharatiya Janata Party have resolved to step up efforts in jointly campaigning for the Tiruchendur Parliamentary constituency, at a joint meeting of the parties held at Suchindram near here on Sunday. Attended among others by the Ministers, N. Thalavai Sundaram and Anita Radhakrishnan, the meeting urged the cadres to gear up for the visit of the Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, to the district next month. The Kanyakumari Assembly segment, though situated in Kanyakumari district, falls under the Tiruchendur Lok Sabha constituency. The meeting called upon the cadres in both the parties to leave no stone unturned in campaigning for their candidate, Thamodaran.
