Congress' charge against BJP

MANGALORE, MARCH 22. The Dakshina Kannada unit of the Congress on Monday accused the BJP of tampering with the voters' list of Surathkal Assembly constituency. Addressing presspersons here, one of the spokespersons of the unit, Kallige Taranatha Shetty, alleged that the BJP had included the names of 152 persons into the voters' list by bogus means. He said that the party had filed a complaint in this regard before the officials concerned. Mr. Shetty alleged that a BJP leader had produced fake Xerox copies as proof of identity of those persons to the officials of Election Commission.
