By Our Staff Correspondent
MADIKERI, MARCH 22. Several office-bearers of the minority cells of political parties and organisations in Kodagu alleged here on Monday that the president of the minority wing of the District Congress Committee, P.M. Qasim, was playing up the Sri Harischandra Temple desecration incident that occurred two years ago at Palur. They said Mr. Qasim was thus trying to gain the sympathy of the Muslims who suffered in the riots, with an eye on the coming elections. They said the Palur incident was a closed chapter.
