GULBARGA, MARCH 22. The India Royal Academy of Art and Culture here will organise a national-level art contest and exhibition at the industrial township of Shahabad in the last week of May. The academy has invited entries for the first annual Indian Royal Academy Awards 2004 for outstanding paintings, drawing, graphics, sculpture and photography. The academy proposes to give eight cash prizes. Apart from this, 10 merit certificates will be given. The participating artists should send 5 x 7 size of photographs of their original work before April 15 to the organiser, Indian Royal Academy of Art and Culture, C/o Jagadale Cottage, Opposite Railway Station, Banjara Nagar, Shahabad 585 228 or call Ph: 08474-363129. Entry forms are available at all art institutes in the State.
