HASSAN, MARCH 22. The announcement of the names of B.V. Kari Gowda for the Hassan Assembly constituency and E. Nanje Gowda for the Gandsi Assembly constituency by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has caused heartburn among the loyal party workers in the district. The former president of the BJP Raitha Morcha, Dyavappa, has in a press release said that a few party leaders, who are disappointed by the nomination of Mr. Kari Gowda and Mr. Nanje Gowda, who joined the party recently, have decided to take a neutral stand in the coming elections. They will not take part in campaigning too, he has said.
