NEW DELHI, MARCH 22. The Congress manifesto promises immediate enactment of a national Employment Guarantee Act, 33 per cent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and the State Assemblies and a quota for backward class Muslims and other minorities. It has also made a ``solemn commitment'' to restore peace among all sections, to strengthen the secular order through emphasis on social harmony, cultural pluralism and respect for the rule of law and to ensure a bright and secure economic future for every family in the country.
