NEW DELHI, MARCH 22. A 53-year-old woman and her domestic help were robbed of cash and jewellery by three unidentified young men who barged into their house at Hari Nagar in West Delhi today. According to the police, the incident occurred in the house of Narendra Kumar, a resident of BB-Block at Janakpuri in Hari Nagar around 2 p.m. At the time, Narendra's wife, Nirmal, and his domestic help, Dinesh Thapa (20), were present in the house, while he had gone to his shop where he deals in door handles. The trio whipped out knives and forced Nirmal to part with Rs. 75,000 in cash and an unspecified amount of jewellery.
Arrested
Three persons, who were allegedly into stealing, were arrested by the Special Staff from Vivek Vihar in East Delhi on Sunday. Acting on a tip-off that some criminals were trying to dispose of stolen goods at Vivek Vihar, the police mounted a raid and arrested them. They were identified as Sanjay Sharma, Talak Raj, and Mohammad Nasir.
