Nalco's MoU with Mines Ministry

VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 23. National Aluminium Company Ltd. (Nalco), the largest producer and exporter of alumina and aluminium, has committed to achieve a 20 per cent growth in its production and 10 per cent jump in its sales turnover during 2004-05, according to company sources.

A memorandum of understanding to this effect was entered into by Nalco and the Union Ministry of Mines in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The Chairman and Managing Director in-charge of Nalco, S. K. Banerjee, and the Secretary in the Department of Mines, C. D. Araha, signed the MoU.
