Oracle suite for Singapore retail chain

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services and Oracle Singapore (subsidiary of Oracle Corporation) announced that NTUC FairPrice, Singapore's leading supermarket retailers, has gone live on the Oracle E-Business Suite. The project utilised Oracle E-Business suite 11i capabilities to integrate FairPrice's separate back-room finance systems into a unified, billing, accounts and cash management software platform. FairPrice has sales of $1 billion annually, a staff strength of 4,000 spread over 14 operating units, and more than 100 stores across Singapore, it said.
