Centurion Bank opens extension counter
KOCHI: Centurion Bank will focus more on South with stress on retail lending, said Shailendra Bhandari, Managing Director. He was talking to The Hindu here after the opening of an extension counter at Irinjalakuda. He said the capital restructuring plan was on and the bank had `gained a new lease of life' after the infusion of fresh capital of Rs. 219 crores. The bank plans to issue right shares for Rs. 65 crores. Earlier, Rev. Dr. Mar James Pazhayattil, the Bishop of Irinjalakuda, opened the extension counter. Innocent, Malayalam cine artiste inaugurated the ATM. Mr. Bhandari presided over the function.
