NEW DELHI, MARCH 25. A 28-year-old man has been arrested by the North Delhi police on charges of outraging the modesty of a Delhi University student at Maurice Nagar in North Delhi on Wednesday. According to the police, a 22-year-old student of Delhi University approached the Maurice Nagar police station and complained that a person had been calling her on the telephone for the past sometime and passing lewd comments. On Wednesday, he confronted her on the campus and passed objectionable comments about her. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused, identified as Venkat (28), a resident of Hakikat Nagar.
