CHAMARAJANAGAR, MARCH 26. The body G. Raju Gowda, former Minister and Hanur MLA, who died in Bangalore on Thursday, was buried at Doddinduvadi in Kollegal taluk today with full State honours. The district in-charge Minister, M. Mahadev, the Cooperation Minister, H. Vishwanath, the Kollegal MLA, Nanjundaswamy, and the former Union Minister, V. Sreenivas Prasad, and hundreds of Congress workers paid their last respects to Raju Gowda. The funeral procession from Kollegal to Hanur began at 8 a.m. Narendra, son of Raju Gowda, performed the last rites. The Deputy Commissioner, Harsha Gupta, and the Superintendent of Police, Madhukar Shetty, were present. Elaborate arrangements were made for the procession.
