BANGALORE, MARCH 26. A youth snatched a gold chain from a woman in Kempe Gowda Nagar Police Station limits on Thursday. The police said the youth came from behind and snatched the chain from Hemavathi of Sameerapura when she was going to her son's school. The police have registered a case. Accident: An unidentified man aged around 45 was killed on the spot when a lorry hit him near Furniture Bazaar on Marathalli Outer Ring Road on Thursday evening. Airport police have seized the lorry and are on the lookout for the driver. Arrested: Silver Jubilee Park police arrested four persons on Thursday on the charge of stealing machine tools from the company in which they were working. The police gave the names of the arrested as Krishnamurthy of Vidyaranyapura, Manikantan of Kumaraswamy Layout, Parusharam of Muneshwara Block and Krishna of Anekal. The police said machine tools worth Rs. 2 lakh were recovered from them.
