KALPETTA, MARCH 27. The district credit plan for 2004-2005 for Wayanad district, envisages a total credit disbursement of Rs. 558.55 crores by the banks. Of this, an amount of Rs. 285. 86 crores is earmarked for agriculture and allied activities, Rs. 11.90 crores for smallscale industries and Rs. 152.59 crores for the tertiary sector. The ensuing year's credit disbursement target is 13 per cent more than this year's target. The plan was launched at the district-level review meeting held at Kalpetta recently by the Wayanad District Collector, K. Gopalan.
