HYDERABAD, MARCH 27. VisualSoft Technologies announced the inauguration of its new BPO facility and division named `VisualSoft Interactions', with a capacity of 500 seats and set up with an investment of about Rs. 18 crores. Commercial operations will commence in April second week, under a strategic tie-up with a U.S. major for outsourcing. While 40 people have been doing a pilot project, in 12-15 months it will be ramped up to 350 people, for offering services in areas such as transactions processing, email support, tech support and inbound market research, said D. V. S. Raju, Chairman and Managing Director. Replying to questions at a press conference here on Saturday, he said once `critical mass' is obtained, investment by the strategic partner was not ruled out. Options such as a separate company could also be considered, but only at that stage, he said.
