CPI(M) appeal to TRS

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, MARCH 27. The CPI(M) State Committee secretary, B.V. Raghavulu, in a statement on Saturday reiterated his appeal to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) not to field its candidates against his party in the coming elections.

Drawing the attention of the TRS to the necessity of keeping the anti-NDA vote in tact to defeat the Telugu Desam and the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Raghavulu said reports that the TRS would field its candidates from Miryalaguda and Nakrekal were disturbing.

Local TRS leaders were issuing statements that were detrimental to the interest of the opposition in this regard, he said.
