VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 27. The district administration has identified 491 sensitive, 368 hyper and 75 super sensitive polling stations in the district. In a chat with reporters who met him on Saturday, the District Collector and the District Election Officer, Sunil Sharma, said that they had made elaborate arrangements for ensuring free and fair polls for the two Lok Sabha and 13 Assembly constituencies in the district. Mr. Sharma said that para-military forces were being deployed in the agency area. So far, the administration had identified 33 inaccessible polling stations. He said action would be taken against polling officials if they failed to attend training classes. Training for polling officers and assistant polling officers would be conducted on Sunday and Monday. Stating that of 7,500 polling personnel drawn up from various departments in the district, 2,000 would be deputed to East Godavari, he said about 5,500 officials were expected from East Godavari and other neighbouring districts.
