BANGALORE, MARCH 27. Janothsava, a city-based non-governmental organisation, and Free the Children, a Japan-based "network of children for children", plan to build a Born Free Art Centre in Bangalore, for street and under-privileged children. John Devaraj, coordinator of Janothsava, told presspersons here on Friday that the centre would teach painting, architecture, sculpture and other art subjects to the children. "Freed child labourers, and Dalit and poor children can learn at the centre," he added. Mr. Devaraj, a sculptor, organises various events for underprivileged children through Janothsava.
