BANGALORE, MARCH 27. T.M. Kumar, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board Director, today assured SSLC candidates and their parents that the answers written on the second page of the answer scripts would be valued and there was no cause for worry. Mr. Kumar was reacting to frantic phone calls from several students and parents, who wondered whether the answers written on the second page would be ignored by the evaluators. They were afraid that since the first page of the booklet had the details of the subject concerned, it was likely to be torn off for reference. The Board on Saturday conducted examinations for visually challenged students and junior technical students. No case of malpractice was reported, Mr. Kumar said.
