THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 28. Continuing their offensive against the Electricity Minister, K. Muraleedharan, the suspended KPCC general secretaries, Rajmohan Unnithan and T. Saratchandra Prasad, have asked the Minister to tender apologies for having indulged in dissident activity in the Ernakulam and Thiruvalla byelections. Interacting with reporters in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi, the two leaders said there was no question of their tendering any apology for their rebellion or for the fast undertaken by Mr. Saratchandra Prasad at the KPCC headquarters as no apology had been sought from them by the party high command. Mr. Rajmohan Unnithan said here today that the high command had only sought some time to address the issues raised by them and asked them to observe restraint and not to make any provocative statements. Mr. Muraleedharan, he said, should apologise to the party cadres for having indulged in anti-party activities in the Ernakulam Lok Sabha byelection and the Thiruvalla Assembly byelection now that he had admitted that his actions were on account of error of judgment.
