THRISSUR, MARCH 28. The Kanattukara road where the residence of the renowned Sanskrit scholar late K P Narayana Pisharody is located will be named after him. This was disclosed here today by the Mayor, Jose Kattukkaran, at a meeting held to remember the contributions of Prof. Pisharody who died last week. Speaking at the meeting the Thrissur MLA, Therambil Ramakrishnan, said efforts have already begun to set up a fitting memorial to late Pisharody. V V Raghavan, MP, K P Rajendran, MLA, the president pf the Cochin Devaswom Board, Vijayaraghavan, Vayala Vasudevan Pillai, Madhavankutty and K.P.C. Narayanan Bhattathirippad were among those who spoke on the occasion.
