Bank employees' unions to intensify stir

THRISSUR,
MARCH 28.
The united forum of various unions of bank employees has decided to intensify the agitation launched by officers of the Dhanalakshmi Bank.
The employees of the Dhanalakshmi Bank are protesting against the alleged anti-worker policy of the bank management, and for raising the retirement age of the officers, which had been "unilaterally reduced by the management". The officers are also demanding that the management drop the move to shift the headquarters of the bank from Thrissur and change the alleged "anti-people lending policy of the bank''.
According to a release received here today, from the united forum of bank unions, a convention on April 6.
