Left parties name more candidates

HYDERABAD,
MARCH 28.
The CPI (M) on Sunday announced candidates for three Assembly and one Lok Sabha seat while the CPI named its candidate for one more Assembly constituency.
The former MLAs -- Paturu Ramaiah and M.A. Gafoor - were named for Nidumolu (Krisna district) and Kurnool Assembly constituencies, respectively. Y. Vishveswar Reddy was nominated for Uravakonda Assembly seat in Anantapur district. The candidature of M. Babu Rao, a doctor, was finalised by the CPI (M) for Bhadrachalam Lok Sabha constituency.
The CPI announced the name of P. Venkata Reddy for Mungode Assembly seat in Nalgonda district.
They said that candidates for other constituencies, including Vijayawada West, which was allotted to the CPI, would be announced soon.
