RSP to contest 40 seats in U.P.

LUCKNOW, MARCH 29. The Bahujan Samaj Swabhiman Sangharsh Samiti (BS-4), which has changed its name to Rashtriya Swabhiman Party (RSP), has decided to contest 40 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, besides five each in Bihar, Uttaranchal and Delhi and two in Rajasthan on its own.

The RSP president and Uttar Pradesh Sports Minister, R.K. Chowdhry, released the first list of the party's 28 candidates for Uttar Pradesh here today. Mr. Chowdhry said his party would support the ruling Samajwadi Party in five constituencies, including Mohanlalganj. — UNI
