62 designated branches of SBI to collect tax

KOCHI: In view of the expected rush on account of closing of Government accounts for the current financial year, State Bank of India has made special arrangements for receiving income tax, corporate tax and other direct taxes through 62 designated branches spread throughout Kerala. All direct taxes would be received at these branches during extended business hours also, according to a press release. — Our Staff Reporter
