NCR in pact with PNB

MUMBAI, MARCH 30. NCR Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. and Punjab National Bank have signed an image-based cheque clearing system agreement, which will help in faster clearances of inter-city cheques.

The deal would help clear inter-city cheques within 48 hours of presentation of a cheque at select centres using cheque truncation, NCR Corporation said in a release.
