Traffic regulation

KOCHI, MARCH 30. Traffic would be regulated in the city tomorrow in connection with the World Cup Asian zone qualifier being held at the Jawaharlal Nehru International stadium, Kaloor. Parking has been prohibited on both the sides of the Palarivattam-Kacherippady route and the Kaloor-Pottakuzhi stretch. The regulation would be on from 10 a.m. till the game is over. Vehicles coming from Vyttila along the NH bypass should take a deviation through the Ayesha Road and reach the stadium through the Thammanam Junction. Vehicles coming from Aluva would be allowed to park on either sides of the stadium. Around 1,500 policemen have been posted on duty to avoid any untoward incident.

Time allotted

A meeting of church representatives and police officers held today under the chairmanship of the District Collector, Gyanesh Kumar, has decided to conduct service at different timings in the Varikkoli church with each faction being given separate timings.
