Fatally knocked down

TIRUCHI, MARCH 31 . A retired railway employee of Ayyappa Nagar here, who was knocked down by a lorry on Tuesday night, died today. Rajendran (68) was riding a moped when the accident occurred at Sundar Nagar.

A four-and-a-half-year-old girl was run over by a lorry at Kannanur near Pulivalam today.

Tamilarasi was crossing the road when the accident took place. The Pulivalam police arrested the lorry driver.
