BANGALORE, APRIL 3. The top seeds in both the +45 and +55 sections were knocked out of the Indian Oil Servo all-India invitation veterans' tennis championship at the Century Club courts here today. The fourth-seeded S. Parekh of Maharashtra stunned the top seed and holder, C.S. Rajan of Karnataka 5-7, 6-2,7-6 (7-5) and entered the final of the +55 singles. Parekh will meet the second seed A. Mubarak of Tamil Nadu who beat D. Gururaj of Karnataka 7-5, 6-2. In the +45 singles, the sixth seed Ram Mohan Rao of Andhra Pradesh shocked the top seed, Yogesh Shah of Gujarat 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) to set up a title clash with the second seed S. Settu, also of Tamil Nadu. Settu rallied to down V.T. Ranaganathan of Karnataka 3-6, 6-2, 6-1. The third and fourth seeds, also made their exits in the +65 section. The top seed, V. Chiranjeevi of AP beat the fourth seed C.B. Raju, also of AP 6-3, 6-4 and the unseeded Nagaraja Rao of Karnataka beat G. Palani of Tamil Nadu 6-4, 6-2.
