At Airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 36.4 degree Celsius and 28.6 degree Celsius respectively. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 75 per cent and at 5.30 p.m. was 65 per cent. The maximum and minimum temperatures at the Dolphin's Nose were 32.3 degree Celsius and 25.2 degree Celsius respectively. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent.

Pilot project

People's Organisation for Welfare in Rural Environment (POWER), a voluntary organisation, has been granted a pilot project for campaigning in Anandapuram mandal on `National environment awareness' by the Ministry of Environment and Forests. The theme entrusted is `Water--elixir of life.

The NGO will launch campaign on April 10 in different villages of Anandapuram mandal.

Rajayoga training

Ruling hailed

Forum of Legal Professionals has hailed the order of the Supreme Court banning beaming of surrogate advertisements on the electronic media. This was a step in the right direction, the forum president, Kuppili Muralidhar, said on Sunday.
