Partly cloudy

CHENNAI, APRIL 4. The sky will remain partly cloudy on Monday with the maximum temperature around 35 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 33.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26.3 degrees Celsius.

At Meenambakkam, the corresponding temperatures were 35 degrees Celsius and 25.5 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels were 75 and 70 per cent respectively.

Power cut

Power supply will be suspended on April 6 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in parts of Sowcarpet, Pantheon Road, Seven Wells, Chetpet and T.Nagar areas for maintenance work.

Free surgery recommended

Free surgery was recommended for nine of the 260 patients who attended a health camp organised today by the Hindu Mission Hospital. The camp was held at the Panchayat Union Elementary School, Keerapakkam.

While four of them recommended for surgery suffer from eye ailments, the other five require general surgery.

Five doctors attended on the patients, according to a press release.
