Rainfall occurred at many places over interior Karnataka and at a few places over Telangana. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamilnadu, Kerala, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres: Rabkavi (Bagalkote dt.) and Hyderabad Airport 4 each, Palayamkottai and Kottur (Bellary dt.) 3 each, Khanapur (Belgaum dt.), Bidar, Byadagi (Haveri dt.) and Kollegal (Chamrajnagar dt.) 2 each and Denkanikottai (Dharmapuri dt.), Alapuzha, Jamakandi (Bagalkote dt.), Belgaum Airport, Londa (Belgaum dt.), Chitradurga, Mysore, Turuvekere (Tumkur dt.) and Anantapur 1 each.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over south Kerala, fell at one or two places over interior Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Kerala and Interior Karnataka and isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and coastal Karnataka.
